WHO IS OG BLAK?
A Hip Hop artist from Kinston, NC by way of Charlotte, NC, dedicated to conveying uplifting messages to push the culture forward. OG Blak considers everyday life to be his biggest influence. Reality, the ups and downs, and the struggle to overcome it all is what pushes OG Blak's pen to the next level.
When asked about why he chose Hip Hop as his preferred method of expression, OG Blak responded simply by saying:
"I looked up to rappers as philosophers, street philosophers if you will. I was enamored with the art of it all. The bars, flow, concepts, punchlines and storytelling. I fell in love with the idea that I could use those same principles to tell my own story. I wanted to create an outlet for those who felt left behind. Thats what I represent. I am the voice of the voiceless, and I give hope to the hopeless. Through my music I will deliver a positive message to the people, and for the people. BLAKWORLD!!!"
